Established in 1995 Joondalup School of Music, has grown in reputation and size to become one of WA's most loved and respected music schools.

Our friendly and helpful staff are eager to support you on your musical journey, whether that journey finds you taking a piano lesson, completing your AMEB examinations, joining a rock band or learning a few chords to play around the campfire.

We are very proud of our students with many having success in a variety of areas such as finalists in X Factor, Australian Idol and Pop Stars, securing record deals, furthering their musical studies at academies such as WAAPA, and some have even gone on to become music teachers themselves.

The aim of our school is to create a fun and meaningful environment, and we take pride in catering to all ages, levels and musical tastes.
TEACHERS
Our teachers are experienced professionals, proficient in teaching students of all ages and styles. At Joondalup Music, we like to make your lessons fun and as such try and incorporate your favourite styles of music into the lesson.

My name is Taio Holloway, and for the last 6 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching the piano, and the fundamentals of music. Having practiced the piano for almost 13 years, I have first hand experience in just how fulfilling, rewarding, and enjoyable learning an instrument can be, and it’s been even more rewarding personally being able to pass this knowledge on to others. So whether you’re looking to learn a few movie classics, or want to be the next Beethoven, I’m here to help you on your journey!

Matt is an experienced musician who has played in a wide range of musical contexts. With a Bachelor of Contemporary Music from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Matt can assist students at varying levels progress rapidly on both guitar and bass guitar. You can catch him onstage playing for Rami.

Sabrina
Guitar, Vocals, Songwriting
Singing for as long as she can remember, Sabrina began her musical journey busking in the small country town of Denmark, WA. Since then she has performed extensively around regional WA as well as parts of Europe including Northern Ireland, Scotland, and England. Nominated for “Channel 7 News Young Achiever Award for 2020”, Sabrina is currently in the final year of her Bachelor of Music at WAAPA.

Selina has been playing music since the age of seven. She has a wide range of experience whilst learning the piano. Selina can teach contemporary, pop and classical music and is able to help students prepare for their AMEB exams.

Drums
Dan is a pro musician, music teacher and music producer. He has a wealth of experience at all levels from small gig/pub to festival/corporate/broadcast media. International performing experience includes tours of Australia and Germany, residencies in Singapore and gigs all over the UK.
